direct-service programs to Native American communities.  She has also had

Examiner, La Prensa San Diego, Parabola Magazine, Truthout.org, and
Alternet.org and on radio (KPFA Berkeley).  She has also worked as a
television/documentary producer on the ITVS-funded Homeland about four
Lakota families on the Pine Ridge Reservation which premiered on PBS
nationally and produced New California Media, a newsmagazine tv show
produced at KCSM, San Mateo, California.  She is presently working on a
novel called "Leaving the GIittering World" involving an ancient skeleton,
grunge music and atomic bombs.  She is also a devoted mother and wife to
her two children and husband.  They are a family that can claim membership
in the Navajo Nation in Arizona and (her husband's tribe) the Six Nations of
the Grand River in Ontario, Canada and kinship with the the Yankton Sioux
